Chinese (MT) Updates [Term 2 Week 10]

  • Dear Parents, I have handed the students a letter with details of the assignments for the June Holidays, it should be either stapled in their student diary or inside their homework file.
  • As we will be shifting to the Holland Grove campus during the holidays, I have returned the students their execise books, activity books and files so to minimise the possibility of loss during the move. I will be collecting back the 1B activity book (活动本) for marking when the students return from their June Holidays.
  • It has been an enjoyable and fun-filled first semester with the children. : ) Hereby wishing them a great holiday ahead!

温馨提醒/Gentle Reminders
  • P1 Sing-a-Rainbow: The students can come to school on the day wearing their home clothes, but they must be wearing school shoes. There is no need to change out of their home clothes.
  • There will be a Chinese Book fair next Tuesday in the canteen from 9am to 4pm. The students are given an envelope and a letter with details on the book fair.

温馨提醒/Gentle Reminders
  • The P1 Sing-a-Rainbow (唱出彩虹) programme will take place next Wednesday, 22nd May. The programme will be conducted during their MT period, thus other subjects will not be affected. The students are welcomed to perform in their home clothes, on whether they need to change out into their school uniform after the performance, I will update the students ASAP.
  • As there will be no more 听写 for this term, students are advised to leave their spelling books at home for now. I will be collecting back the spelling books when school reopens in Term 3.
  • We have finished the syllabus for 1A, thus students can keep both their 1A textbooks and activity books at home for future revision.
  • The class will be doing 造句(二)next week, so the students will need to bring their 造句本 next Monday for collection. I will be reminding them in class tomorrow.

  • There will be a Chinese reading (朗读)test for the students next week, to assess on their progress this term. The test marks will not be counted in their overall grade.
